Fall Goalty League is looking for captains and Youth CoEd Fall League is looking for coaches! 


Fall Goalty League will run for 7 weeks from 9/19/2015 - 10/31/2015 from 10 am to 12 noon on Saturdays at Ted Rhodes Park. 

Teams will be drafted in typical fashion, competing with other teams in a rotating fashion, and finishing the season with a tournament. 

Responsibilities include: emailing your team weekly, drafting your team, teaching basics of goaltimate, being a good example on (and off) the field. 

Youth CoEd Fall League will run for 6 weeks from 9/27/2015 - 11/8/2015 from 2 pm to 5 pm on Sundays at Williamson County Soccer Complex. 

As a coach, you will not be drafting or choosing your team, nor will you be responsible for emailing.

Responsibilities include: cheering and encouraging your team on the sideline, teaching basic offenses and defenses, teaching basic skills like throwing and cutting, getting your teams psyched about the game!

The Nashville women's ultimate frisbee team, Encore, is hosting a Spikeball tournament on August 9, 2015 as a fundraiser for season costs. They are inviting YOU and your friends! The tournament is open to all ages and levels of experience!

When: Sunday, August 9, 4-6pm
*Registration/Warmup from 4-4:15pm

Where: Centennial Park in front of the Parthenon (between the Parthenon and West End)

What to bring:

  • Water bottle - it's going to be hot! 
  • A teammate and $20 per team (we accept cash or check)
  • any friends or family that want to play or cheer you on!

What to wear:

  • tennis shoes! 
  • clothes that can get sweaty and dirty if you'll be laying out
  • costumes and crazy clothing is encouraged


  • 3 FREE Spikeball sets to raffle! 
  • Everyone is guaranteed at least 4 games (depending on the number of teams that register). We'll have extra sets in case people get out early and want to keep playing though.


  • We will go over the tournament rules (serves, pockets, etc.) on Sunday once everyone arrives, and explain how the tournament bracket, rounds, scoring, etc. will occur. Want to brush up before then? Read them here.

Who: Middle school to college aged females who want to learn some ultimate skills

When: July 18th from 2pm to 5pm (Please join us for the Nightwatch game at 6pm, where you will be part of the half time show)

What: A three hour clinic for women in Nashville to learn specific ultimate skills, learn ways to improve your strength and speed, and get hands on experience by scrimmaging other women

Why: Because who doesn't love playing ultimate?

BLADE Tryouts

Blade is a Nashville based mens open team entering its fourth year and looking to build on the success of last year.  Its a fun group of guys that strive to build lasting relationships on and off the field.  Not to be cheesy, but this team is a family and regularly hangs out off the field.  Ok, so its cheesy.  Whatever.  Open tryouts will be held on Saturday, May 16th, at 12pm at Ted Rhodes park.    If interested in playing this year, but cannot make the tryout, please contact Nathan Rosenberg at

Night Under the Lights

Friends of Nashville Ultimate, 

This Thursday, April 23rd, you have the opportunity to come out to watch a showcase of youth and professional talent! 

Blackman High School presents "Night Under the Lights"

5:00 pm: Students will warm up alongside Nashville's professional ultimate team, the NightWatch.

6:00 pm: BHS women vs. Independence women

7:00 pm: A mix of BHS, Independence, and NightWatch players will scrimmage on a professional sized field. 

8:00 pm: BHS men vs. Independence men

Contests, games, and prizes will occur throughout the night, as well as a raffle to win tickets to see Nashville NightWatch…

SUPER BOWL SUNDAY Goalty Hat Tournament - February 1st

Not going to Arizona to watch the Seahawks vs the Patriots? Wanting to get some exercise before all those hot dogs and pretzels and soda at your SB party? Come out to Centennial Park for a Goalty Hat Tournament! Get there by 11:45am to be assigned a team and we will start at 12pm SHARP!! 30 minute rounds for pool play, semis, and finals. We will be finished by 3pm. We are asking $1 as your tournament fee, and that money goes directly towards the upkeep of current goalty kits and building new kits!

Where: Centennial Park (close to the Community Center)

When: Sunday, February 1st, 12:00 pm GAME START (so show up before then!)

Who: You! Everyone is invited! 

Cost: $1 (This is considered a donation towards upkeep of goalty equipment)

Tennessee Mixed Indoor Sectionals

Indoor Ultimate Championships is coming to Nashville! 

Nashville Ultimate Machine will be hosting our area's Mixed Indoor Sectionals!

When: January 7, 2015 at 1 pm (until approximately 6 pm)

Where: Vanderbilt Recreation Center // address for Vandy Rec is:,-86.808895,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m2!3m1!1s0x0:0xd1a4aa903e9e4e7c)

Who: Any Mixed team in the area that wants to compete! Teams are limited to 15 players. Teams also must have a minimum of two (2) of each gender on the field at any given time.

Rules: The game will be played on turf. Teams are 5 v 5, with a minimum of 2 female or male at any given time. Other teams do not have to match. Subs are on the fly…no stopping unless for calls that demand such. Subbing is on the fly. Games are timed not to a particular score. If a game ends in a tie, a universe point is played.
